Can the USMC expert shooting badge be worn on a Navy uniform?

Served 5 years active duty Marine Corps. Joining the Navy and trying to sort out uniform related issues.

2. Nope, The US Navy issues a Ribbon for marksmanship. You would have to wear the Ribbon, not the Marine badge. Just like a soldiers who had earned a CIB, would on joining the Marines, not be able to wear it, but wear the Combat Action Ribbon.

There are some medals/ribbons that cross branches (my ship was awarded as a whole the Coast Guard Special Operations ribbon for our CDOPs, even though we were a Navy vessel - we had a USCG detachment on board and worked alongside said USCG detachment which qualified us), but those are mostly ribbons that don't have an equal counterpart in the other branch. Most likely, you'd be required to requalify for the Navy on your rifle and pistol marksmanship and earn the Navy's equivalent of your medal.
4. Yes it can, any medal's legally earned and awarded can be worn on any uniform of U.S. Military Armed Forces. Example:An individual who earns such in the Marine Corp, then switches service to the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army or U.S. Air Force is entitled to wear medal's, ribbons or awards on any military uniform. Once earned, unless stripped of these medal's through military legal action, individual's that earned or qualified for any and all awards, have the right to display such in approved formations upon the uniform.
