Is it legal to hunt with military surplus rifles in the state of virginia?

I am considering purchasing a military surplus enfield rifle. Is it legal to hunt with them in Virginia?

Look up the Va game laws But there is not reason why it would be illegal as long as it is of sufficient caliber, which a 303 is Some areas of Va restrict hunting to shotgun only but in that case you couldn't hunt with any rifle I might suggest though that when you are looking into the Enfields pay attention to the #2 or #2A They are ,308 NATO
