Why do so many countries have similar military uniforms?

Medals and pins on the left breast, brim on the hat, basically everything is the same, taiwan, russia and the u.s. not to mention countless others, but i can't find a good source on this

1. Camouflaging decides the colour of the uniform. The modern military is based on the British system and you are aware America was once a British Colony like India, Australia, Middle East etc. to name a few. They had followed the tradition. and taken the British system as the role model. An interesting story. Once the Frech President De Gaulle visited British and was wearing an honorary medal wrongly and at the military congregation every one was wearing the medals in the same he wore as a mark of respect to the honoured guest.

3. You know people just Traditional and stuff us Australians don't have the same uniform as the rest of the world
4. The British answer is true. GB was the Queen of the sea's and influenced everywhere she went. Her troops were well disciplined, and immaculately dressed. and inspired governments to mimic her Pinochet for style and function. Know why the Brits wore red? So that blood could not easily be seen on the tunics, thus causing panic in battle. Simple but Brilliant!
5. I know. It should be more imaginative and take a few tips from the world of high fashion.What's the use of fighting if you can't look good. The whole camouflage motif is sooo old right now.

EACH BRANCH HAS THEIR OWN TYPE OF UNIFORM, ALTHOUGH THE MILITARY WORK WITH OTHER COUNTRYS AND US AUSTRALIANS BACK UP YOUR COUNTRY AND SO DOES BRITAIN AND IF WE DIDNT YOU WOULD COME TO WAR WITH US WHILE BEING DEPLOYED IN THE MIDDLE EAST HOW ARE WE GONNA KNOW WHO IS THE ENEMY IF WE WERE NOT WEARING THE SAME AUSSIES ARE AT WAR RIGHT NOW ALONG WITH AMERICANS I SERVED AND MET A LOT OF PEOPLE WAR IS NOT SO BAD
