Is the helmet on the Isreali military uniform padded to look less solid?
Or is the padding used to cover gear stored on the helmet? The padding almost looks like a flattened pillow. Any answers?

- It's called a "mitznefet". It's not really padding, but a puffy helmet cover made of mesh. It's a type of camouflage intended to disguise the shape of the wearer's head and helmet, with the added bonus of keeping the sun out of the wearer's face.
- why would you care? Are you a terrorist planning on bringing armour into the US illegally?
