Where can I recycle military uniforms without the worry of them falling into the wrong hands?
I have a large amount of military uniforms and I would rather recycle them instead of throwing them in the trash. Does anyone know a good place to do this? I live in Mobile, AL. Selling them is not an option.

- You could take them to the nearest post and see if you can still 'dx' them. They can probably take them for you and they will dispose of them properly.
- Usually base supply will take care of them for you. They either strip them to remake new uniforms or burn them.
- Many bases have a place almost like a Good Will.....you can find out through the base operator if you base has them. You can also find out through the Exchange/PX/BX...I mean you can find out how much each item costs, if the items are not worn, soiled, torn, etc...you can sell them to other people who are in need at a cheaper price then they would pay at the uniform shop...make it like a make shift garage sale
- Give them to junior troops, they'll take them. Falling into the wrong hands? Our enemy heard of eBay too you know!
- You can always cut them into strips of fabric. That way even if they sew them back together it would be obvious.
